missfires pretty bad when cold ... then eventually clears up. Also if i do a WOT pull through a few gears it will usually stumble in at least one gear at high RPM. Not really much else it can be, my plug wires are newer, plugs are newer. coil? If my theory about sustained RPM being the killer of optis has any truth to it... this one could very well be toast already.

The passenger manual window is technically done but I am not yet happy with the adjustment.

i wouldnt want these seats for a cruiser... they are quite firm and its amazing how much more you "feel" the car in corners and such. But for some reason i really dont find myself getting uncomfortable in them.

        • I would definetly take Joel up on that offer before buying them Spencer. They are awesome seats, but as much as I drive my car I'm rethinking my plans to buy them when I do the interior swap now that I have actually sat in them.

But as well kyle you need to actually go for a ride in with me sometime. You really don't get to appreciate them until you go through some corners in these seats

For a car that sees a lot of mileage there are other more comfortable racing seats out there.

                      • you need to keep this going. and on a good note i drove 800+ miles this week cause the f1shitty had an issue and i have to say the 35/22mm sway bars are by far the best mod i have done for cornering, you need to do this you will thank me. the car feels like it is on rails. i went with the mild steel ones the rear is light only being 22mm but the front is very beefy, if you want to stay with the whole light weight game id say go chromoly but youll pay more obviously. umi FTW
wishing i could drive like joe and the atm squad

                        • Well sometime soon i am picking up a spohn for the front from sean's part out. Im not sure if its chromoly or not didnt know that was an option for sway bars

I will be posting some updates in this thread soon . My goal for this winter was really just to get the car up to a level where everything is "right" instead of "Joel'd"
I cant wait to do some racing this year!

                          • Some updates:

This is about 4 years past due for my power level but i finally got one of these thanks to fred for the deal!

Also, harnesses are installed. I kept the stock belts for the street. #lightweightfail

Alpine component rear speakers installed. Inspired by tastyZL1. These are my only speakers, and it is plenty capable. Louder and clearer than my old setup with 4 speakers. Forgot to take a pic of the new head unit.

Rear spoiler removed and dropped off at master works for repair and paint. Mifbody stickers installed +10 hp

                            Still on the winter agenda:

Wideband, fix passenger window regulator, cruise delete, spohn front sway bar and some small fixes in the engine bay. Also a power steering cooler if i have time.
