If you go the Koni route BMR has a sale right now buy konis get their springs free. The BMR springs are nearly identical to Stranos fwiw.

Yeah definitely thinking about getting the Koni they seem to be the best shocks you can buy. I see cars with stranos' with the rear sitting lower than the front more and more lately. The BMR has a slight difference in the spring rate for the rear but I don't know if that means they will sit lower or higher than the stranos. Could someone who's knowledgeable on spring rates give your opinion please? The Strano's are 160lbs rate and the BMR are 150lbs rate (both in regard to rear spring) I have no clue what that means though....

Actually you have it reversed Strano's are 150# per inch BMR's are 160# per inch. What this means is the springs will compress 1 inch for every 150 lbs of pressure on them. That goes the same for the fronts at 550#. I've had my Strano's on the car for 2 years and they have not sagged at all. Keep in mind that some may be doing the hose mod in the rear to gain additional drop (this is not recommended) and may account for the squated look in the rear.
Heres a shot of my car not more then a month ago.

If you look on ls1tech, guys who are just *very recently* installing koni/strano setups have sag in the rear and it's very noticeable. Maybe there's something wrong with the newest productions? Your car is sitting perfect though and it's on an incline.

I'm on Tech almost every day and haven't seen any threads regarding this. Like I said in my last post some people try to get an additional 3/4" of drop in the rear by replacing the upper isolator with wrapped heater hose around the top coil of the spring. You may have do some research to determine if these folks with the lower looking rear are doing this. If there was an issue with quality control for Sam's springs then they likely would not make it here from Germany. I recall him saying that one or more batches of springs were held up because of porosity in the material, and that they wouldn't ship until the parts were up to spec.
