    alright, ive explained the trans issue before. here we go again, or still, for that matter. so, ses came on, code threw.. ...shift solenoid b stuck on. k, install trans cooler.. ..comes on again. change both shift solenoids, 2-3 downshift solenoid and wiring harness. drive it for about 7 miles and code comes up again. when the scanning tool is plugged in, snap-on red brick style, no issues. so, i do a quick google and this is what i find at ls1tech...

    to sum it up, the guy is saying that this is a common code thrown by the computer being confused by the high stall (mines a 3800) and that the computer needs to have that code deleted so that it quits getting confused.

    1. i can rationalize pretty much anything to make it make sense.. ..so, does this actually make sense?

    2. does anybody have hptuners who would be willing to delete this for me?

    3. is this gonna mess with my original tune?

    deleting the code with hptuners will have no affect on the tune.

        alright, i actually just passed ims back and forth to the performabuilt person on ls1tech who says that its the computer and this is what they say is going on. changing all the stuff that i did wont do anything because the parts arent bad. basically, the computer compares rpms to speed and if they dont match, it assumes that the shift didnt occur. so it sends the code because the rpm is higher than it 'should' be. so, the code needs to be deleted using hp tuners.

          what was your original issue? I'm never on here enough to keep track of anything these days. I was having trouble shifting from 2-3 as of late at WOT, it was fine less than WOT. My car would just bounce off the rev limiter until i let off the gas. My brother tweaked my shift settings in HP Tuners and now the car works perfect. At first I thought it was TPS or the ported throttle body I put on, we replaced all of those and took it to the tranny shop and they told me it was the tune.. sure enough, problem solved.

            throws code p0757, shift solenoid b stuck on, keeps coming on and then i have to rev to about 6k for it to go anywhere

              I have hptuners now but I don't have any cars unlocked except mine

                    no, the entire thing was tuned by bakers. livernois put a base tune on it so that i could start the car

                      Id call up Bakers and ask them whats going on. They should stand by their product. I would be pissed.

                      6k in order to move...wow.

                        Gah, I knew that. I'm in agreement here with Nate. Sounds like a tune issue, first thing to do is give the person that tuned the car a jingle.

                          yep, im not exactly happy. i made several phone calls yesterday, well see what happens today. the idea was to have this done for the camarosuperfest but it doesnt appear as though thats going to happen =/

                          and yeah, 6k to go anywhere because its gotta skip 1st and 2nd. ive found myself manually shifting after the code throws, which is only after 7 or 8 miles after driving it. no issues after i start it up again

                              I wouldn't feel defeated. There were a few things replaced, and I assume are different now that the PCM just isn't picking up. Once everything is in synch with each other, it should cure the problem. Although, to tell the truth, I wouldn't drive it too much till you get a hold of a tuner that can dig in there and get things fixed. That 6K shift HAS to be playing hell with your trans/seals/mount.
