Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
that is sean SMC in auburn hills.
comes with larger injectors than what you have. just have to tell him your year for the TB. you should have a blue spring i think
I was at his place 3 times last week
I would get a converter aswell, i wouldnt get something to match the cam if its mild Id say 3000 to 3600, Id also get 3.73 gears out back and a tune, as far as intakes the ls6 is nice little bigger makes more HP you could also look at the fast 90 set up.......
but, I encourage you to use the internet and research everything you do and have an idea of where you want to go with the car and understand what your doing, and the pros and cons of doing it, I would do a 3600 but at the time I had my 2800 put in i didnt have half the stuff done i do now..

"Ever since we was kids,we always knew that people can be bought. It was only a question of who did the buyin' and for how much"-Charlie "Lucky" Luciano
well back to looking for another option of bolt on's. The car ended up already having the ls6 intake after i bought one and went to put it on.......the torque converter as of now if LOST thanks the USPS......so until i get an insurnace check or the converter arrives I have nothing to do on my car.... what else could I install? I want to get a tune but thats tossed out the window untill the converter gets here or I get my money back and get another one.
a pt4000. I already have lca relocation brackets, did the free mods, umi race pan hard bar, umi sfc, slp lid, cam (unknown), hooker super comps, borla exhaust, electronic dump, lowered, drag radials.
not too many other bolt-ons left unless you wanna drop major coin on an electric waterpump. You could buy an UD pulley, but I would invest in a good torque arm and get the car hooking its gonna need help after that converter goes in
I was doin some searchin for the duty cycle of injectors.... from... http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/fuelin...ctor-size.html
what kind of numbers are being put down with the type of current mods I already have? Is it possible that I may currently be at the limit of my stock injectors? according the the gm part # 12555894, 0280155890 http://www.racetronix.com/GM1255894.html on the injectors they are 24lb/hr injectors which would mean they safe amount of hp they are able to handle is 307.2hp @ 80% 345.5hp @90% and max 384hp @ 100%
you should be just fine on your injectors. If you really wanna add more power I would swap to a camshaft you actually know something about, that way you can optimize the entire combo. You could have a simple LS6 cam or something old and not making very much power. What valvesprings do you currently have that might tell you something about the cam.
stock springs stock push rods, i might try going to the sec of state to see if they will give me the guys name at all for a start. its something mild in there it has a nice rumble and shake to her.
