After driving a friends G8 GXP last night on Woodward I may listen to the many voices of reason that said to rebuild the old 10bolt and add a Girdle.
I simply love that car more now then I did before and would rather spend the cash towards getting a G8 GT then putting a little overkill on a 12 year old F-body.
After all the original rear did (as said before) last 130K+ miles and I barely drive it hard enough anymore. The rest of the cash is better spent on some RLB LCA and nice chunk down for a DD in the Fall.
Next topic of discusson is what gear to upgrade to ?
4.10's seem out of the question based on strength, so I was thinking either Motive 3.90 or 3.73's.
Remember RPM and fuel mileage are of little concern as this is an M6. Also This car will NOT see any DR, only street tires.
All opinions welcome.
