well alittle update: its really not engine related though i sent my cam off to bullet last week to get reground, i wasnt taking any chances with those gouges out of the cam lol.. but i did end up fixing my headlight motor yesterday yahhh no more shutting my lights off, and having one stay up!! lol and i also mounted and ran the line for the nitrous pressure gauge, i had it in the drivers side vent, and it looked awesome but i didnt have enough line so i just did the original dash mount.. heres some pics, after the cam returns next week i can put the whole motor together [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

honestly the air/fuel gauge was in the car when i bought it... but it never worked, just had the green light all the way to the bottom of rich, so after i pulled the motor out i found why it didnt work, the wire was burnt or cut as soon as it left the fire wall.. so i have no clue how it hooks up or anything like that.. i would like to get one that actually tells me a number lol i might just sell this one and see what i can get out of it?? lol

Yeah, that looks like a narrowband.

            I'd recommend the Innovate LC1.

Pretty easy - not a lot to it, just run a few wires, and connect a few things and presto.

I have one in my Cobalt, works great.

Nothing personal MP81 but id recommend anything but the LC-1. Im selling mine for a PLX as soon as i find the serial wire for it.

Edit - if you want mine kyle its yours for cheap. like i said i just need to find the serial cable for it... but ive already looked just about everywhere

I'd imagine the hardest part is welding in a bung for the wideband sensor. Joel if Kyle doesn't buy it I'll buy it.

Yeah - you seem to having nothing but issues with it - but you're trying to datalog only, aren't you?

I run mine with the gauge and it works great.

IMO, there's absolutely no point to having a wideband if you cant make changes based on what you see (i.e. not having tuning software).

If you have the car dyno tuned, then dont waste your money on one. The tuning parameters wont change from day to day, a 12.6 AFR @ WOT is gonna be 12.6 AFR 365 days a year

If you are gonna spray, then ignore everything I just said.

It's nice to have a wideband in case something breaks, IE a fuel injector shorts out. Then you know to shut down instead of gun it and go lean, melting a piston. But that's about it. Honestly though the price of a used LC-1 is more valuable than having to rebuild or get a new engine to me.
