well looked at the second one. body has faded paint on hood. and there was a ****ing oil leak underneath the car. didnt even talk tot he owner. just left

i got ahold of the first one. says its clean, no rust, everythings good, his wife drives it, there moving and need the cash. only aftermarket is a magnaflow exhuast and a 160 t-stat (im changing it back to normal if i get it) plus now he'll take 2k for it. so im going to look at it tomorrow. if i like it and its a clean body. im buying it. **** even if i have to replace the headliights. and then when the motor goes. ill have cash left over to build a nice 355 lt1 lol.

i bought a 1994 formula in 2002 for $4,500 with 75k on it. Body was very clean, and ran excellent. didnt have ttops or 6speed tho. Everything was stock besides k&n filter.

its hard for me to believe that a 14 year formula with 140k is still yielding 2 grand. check the blue book on it and see what that says (even tho blue books are not necessarily correct)....if its lower than 2k, print it out and show the guy and see if he will take blue book value for it.

Any running LT1 T56 car is worth 2k.

Ive got cash and am just looking for the right one

The price point of 6 speed cars is relative to their production numbers and therefore the amount of cars available to be purchased. way back in 2003 i had a hard time finding a nice one.

year by year doesnt really affect the market much. but to answer your question 95 was the highest year of overall production for fourth gens. On average, the number of 6 speed cars to automatics (V8 equipped) was 13%.

Thus why T56 cars command a 1000 premium over a regular A4 car.

didnt get a chance to go look at it. called him. said if you jump the headlight motors they both work. sounds like a bad module to me.

so do you guys think its worth it for 2k?
