Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

Depends on what year car. GM started getting cheap in the last years of the 4th gen and started downgrading the WS6/SS suspension.
The 98-99 SS's had 1LE suspension with the exception of the Koni D/A shocks.

I believe the 1LE cars also had a 21mm rear swaybar and harder durometer bushings. The WS6 SS cars did not get the bushing nor the 21mm rear bar.
Jan 2000 was the cutoff point for the availability of the 1LE suspension option. So all WS6/SS Cars made after that point are equipped with the same springs as the regular V8 Cars, the rest of the Pkg remained the same (bigger wheels/tires 32mm front swaybar different valving Decarbon shocks). BTW the 32mm front bar is same as 1LE.

Your correct on the rear sway bar. I had to look in my binders that has info on the SS's
The 1LE did come back in 2001 & 2002 as a SLP option on the SS's.
The SLP 1LE cars had a 35mm hollow front bar.
