  • Any one ever put a v8 clsuter in a v6?

I have had mine in for a while, with no issues. I had been thinking my car had lowis oil pressure. But I found out that its actually really good.

Since the v6 gauge reads up to 120psi 1/2 way is 60
The v8 goes to 80 so 1/2 way was 40 psi
    so when I thought I had 40 I really had 60.

My real question is, should i try transfering the 120PSI gauge backing over buy cutting and pasting it in or can I get a lt1 oil pressure sender unit

by that methodology all your gauges are way off? MPH too? seems kinda pointless to me, now you have a car with an incorrect odometer and its not like you will ever get to 150mph anyway.. heck even 120 in a v6 is more than plenty for most michigan roads..

That said, the last thing you want to be doing is cutting and pasting your gauges, thats going to look terrible IMO if its even possible?

All the others are great actually.
I used my snap on obd scan tool and the mph was off 1mph at 70
      rpms are spot on

you can pick up gauge clusters for 20-50 bucks on ebay. There is a place in troy or madison heights that will reset mileage for 40.00 to keep it acurate.

I alreadly have one of each cluster. And My dad reset the mileage for me.
Its just the oil pressure thats bothering me, i took apart the v6 cluster last night and it looks liekyou could litterly cut it out and put the other one in its place without it being the slightest bit noticeable

If that's the case, I'd just get a custom overlay.

Can you get them custom like Brians, with text, but keep stock look, as far as colors go?

Sure, you can have pretty much anything done. I'm sure you could get the oil pressure scale redone.
