    I second the burnt plug wire...look over all the wires. Out of curiosity how many miles on the plugs and wires.

      ^^dont take advice like this and immediately go out and buy a new Opti. get it scanned and then test the opti to see if its getting a signal. you can test a lot of the ignition parts to make sure that they are in proper working condition.

        plug wires or EGR. Optis usually fail at high RPMs first rather than low.

              Well i changed my fuel pump, fuel filter and the rusted fuel line and my car start up right away know, the plug and wire are maybe 4 month old and that was the first thing i checked when it started running bad. It will run great until in warms up then it start running bad again. could this really be the egr?

                Im starting to think its a vacuum leak cause the line vacuum line from the valve cover to the throttle body cracked when i pulled it off the throttle body and there oil on the throttle body
