So i was driving my car sunday and it had a real bad miss and when you got in the gas it bogged down then picked itself back up. When you were driving down the road it would run good then all of a sudden start running bad. So i took it home and let it set. Then drove it again tuesday and it ran ok not the best but lots better then sunday but when i went to drive it today it was missing again so it didnt even try driving it anywhere. Sorry so long lol but any advice.

Is it throwing any codes at all? SES light on? Does it have EGR or AIR? How new is the optispark? Is it only doing it once warmed up or all the time - cold and warm?- Brian Meissen

The ses code is not on, it has EGR and AIR, The opti never been replaced 100,000 + miles, it kinda does it when cold but its gets realy bad when it warms up.

Need to find someone that can pull any stored codes - unfortunately, one of the most telling codes that it's the optispark does not trigger the SES light to come on.
Unfortunately, if there are no codes stored, it's a guessing game at that point. 100k+ could mean it's the optispark but I'm not going to just jump to it just because it's an optispark car like everyone else does.
It could be the coil blaster is going bad and getting heat soaked.
Do you notice it idling any higher than normal?- Brian Meissen

Brians just looking at all possibilites. It seems to many people just point their finger instantly at the Optispark. The car could have countless things wrong with it making it run rough. And all parts including the opti could go bad at 10K miles. And many optis and other parts have lasted far past 200K miles.
Good luck getting the car scanned, hopefully it pulls a code. Be sure to check over all your wires and make sure none are arcing to any metal, or burnt on your headers/manifolds. Check your spark plugs aswell, have they been changed recently?sigpic1994 Camaro Z28 83K M6, CAI, AFR 190cc, 11.6:1, Hooker headers, Hooker ORY, Mangnaflow exhaust, AI 230/238, 1.6 RR, B&M Short throw, Hays clutch, 4.10 gear.

This sounds more like egr problem. get block off kit from summit. cost 20 bucks or so. Have you checked that you don't have a burnt spark plug wire. Check around someone may have a used 94 opti you can test with before buying a new one.sigpic
