i thought a regular lt1 intake doesnt bolt up to lt4 heads? well it takes work but i thought it wasnt a direct bolt up?wishing i could drive like joe and the atm squad

The intake will physically bolt up, but the runners on the LT4 are raised .400 from a LT1. The ports wont line up, but the manifold will bolt on. Eric L

Yeah prorac is 100% correct. I just need the lt4 intake manifold now. and i don't THINK the lt4 intake manifold has egr ? I don't remember ..
And i built the car in a nice garage at my grandparents house in troy, now that its in my driveway here at home its my only option to work through the leaves and dirt and etc.

Oh and i just sold my old roller rockers to some black guy from detroit about 2 hours ago, im going to pick up the new ones tomorrow morning and hopefully ill have enough time after work to get them on and set the lash & etc.1996 Trans Am. 355 LT4 + some go fast mods.

The LT4 does not have EGR on the intake. I believe it also came with a 52 mm throtlebody. Hope this helps. Eric L
