Yes relocation brackets will help out. Set your pinion angle to -2. Remove your front swaybar. That should be enough to get that car into at least the 1.6x range. Whats the race weight?

To heat your tires up you should see smoke starting to come out your wheel well when looking in your drivers side mirror. Alot of people will count up to 5 or 7 when doing a burnout. Every tire likes a little different heat level, you just have to find out what's best for your tire.
You want a lot more air than that in a radial. I would start around 20-22 and work my was down till you stop getting a better 60'. The more air you can effectivly run in the tires the better.

I agree I ran my best 60' times this year on 21psi whereas I would usually run them at 18 it all depends on how well the track is hooking that day. Also I was able to cut low 1.6 60' times on bone stock suspension its a lot to do with your tire and converter combo. What size is your converter currently? Those LCA brackets will help just make sure you have them set in the lowest hole and adjust your pinion angle starting at -2 degrees as mentioned and from then on its all about getting used to your car. Give us a few more details and we may be able to help you better.

Its a full weight car with a loaded up trunk, lol. The converter is supposedly a 2500 but I can't bring it up past 2000, I don't know if that's because its not really a 2500 or if its because the car wants to push the front tires. As far as suspension I have subframe connectors, torque arm, torque arm relocation panhard bar, boxed LCAs, I think thats it. My last run I did I ran tires at 21 and heated them up more than I ever did. Car seemed to hook good but my air filter fell off so I didn't complete that run and forgot my time slip.

I know so is mine, heck I ran my best times with all my junk in my car at Pinks this year, I even had a full case of water bottles and some tools in the back as well as the spare tire and jack.

That converter is definatly tight and I'm sure you could see some improvement stepping up to something like a 3200 with a 2.4str. When are you seeing full boost? And what rpm and gear are you crossing the line at? Also what gears do you have in the rear?

Unsure of what you mean. What I have is the crossmember that takes the ta off the tailshaft.

sounds about right and very similar to my old set-up. 5 psi, made 420/415 through auto. everything else completely stock, even converter. 1.88 60' as well and went 12.03@115. I launched as high as stock converter would allow and dead hooked BFG DR's to the 1.88. More converter should help a lot!
