all fusable links are good, we took them off individually and figured out that the one thats gray/gray is the one thats making my shift light and security light to come on as soon as the battery is conected. Also the windows go up when pushed down and vise versa even if the key is not in the ignition

i think you have a loose electrical connection somewhere. i had this exact same thing happen to me before and it was just my accessory hub come loose somehow, not enough current could get through it.-Joel

That could be a back circuit that causing window problem. sounds like something pluged in wrong, check plugs on PCM did you disconnect them during your head gasket repair? The other possiblility would be the 2 plugs on fender well, the one supplies voltage to fuel pump. Recheck all plugs on engine harness.Originally posted by qwicklt1ws6 View Postall fusable links are good, we took them off individually and figured out that the one thats gray/gray is the one thats making my shift light and security light to come on as soon as the battery is conected. one of the tools i had in mind was a two component set. the first clips on the wire and sends a signal along that wire. the second picks up that signal.you clip the sender on a wire and go to the end of that wire with the second tool. if there is no signal, you just back trace the wire until it gets signal and you have found the area that is broken.
