Not a bad price.

Stainless will not rust obviously but will put off more heat than a coated LT.

Stainless has great property's but when you are talking that much heat a coated will help keep temps down in the engine bay better.

Stainless = Longer life, bit more heat
Coated = Lower temps, 7-10yr life spand depending on conditions.

ive seen some long tubes on ebay ... they are stainless steel ?? with the y and gaskets dont say what kind they are and has a listing for about 10 sets.. running 395.00?? how good are they anyone know?? and how good are stainless compared to coated??

its hit or miss with ebay stainless headers. Mine looked fantastic but I had to do some clearancing to give them some room from rattling all the time. As for lt1 car's I haven't really had any experience. For ls1 cars I know pretty much the only people who rag on the ebay headers are the people who paid twice as much for a name brand stainless header.. Your best bet is to check out an lt1 based site and do a good search for ebay header reports on there. The amount of people who acctually have experience with ebay longtubes is minimal so I highly doubt this site would be helpful in that regard. (As far as I know I'm the only one on here who has tried ebay headers for any motor..)
