  • Need sugjestions on tune up parts

Hello every one hey I'll be doing a tune up here soon on my Formula which is nearing 114k miles. O what fun on my LT1. Including cap, rotor, Wires, plugs, belt probly. What I would like to know is what would be the best parts to go with? Been looking at MSD Cap, Rotor, and Wires. Are those good? Bad? ugly? I have heard good things but wanted opinions of fellow F-body owners. Also as far as plugs Champion, AC-delco, NGK--< have heard these are cheap pices of crap? Again just want to know what some of my fellow F-body owners use.

    Id hit it up with
    MSD cap/rotor/wires
    AC-Delco plugs
    New belt if needed
    Some fuel injector cleaner (SeaFoam)
    Change trannyfluid / filter
    Diff fluid
    Air filter?
    Hows the coolant look?
Grease up suspension zerks, UJoint zerks (if you have them)
    Hows tailshaft seal?
    Suspension bushings still looking good?

Make sure you watch the blinker fluid level and check your muffler bearings for excessive wear.

Funny. but other than that sounds good Air filter already done K&N. Rear diff fuild is going to get changed then 2 because of a leaky ring and pinion seal. Fuel injectors cleaner just put in. Tranny fuild gets changed in a few days hopfuly not easy to do things when u have a broken collar bone sucks. Doing my best to get things done while I have some free time.

        Cool, just dont overlook things.

There is more to a tuneup then just the engine.

Get the suspension greased, check wheel bearings, brake pads, that kinda stuff.
