Want HIDs for 93-97 Camaro

Yeah, Trailblazer headlights are bright by default, HID or not, but I put 'em down as low as they go which helps

Seems like the height of the vehicle would make it as if you didnt have them aimed down.

Ive argued for years that trucks should have lower aimed headlights and fog's.

03-06 Silverado's are the worse, the foglights will blind you.

EXACTLY correct. I NEVER get flashed in my car, even if I forget to turn the high beams off. Its cause the lights are so low to even begin with. And yea, I HATE sitting at stoplights with trucks behind me blinding me. I've actually had one guy be nice enough to shut off the headlights and just leave his fogs on till the light turned. Must have been an F-body owner

I try not to drive after sundown in my Camaro, the lights are worthless. The Grand Prix on the other hand, best lights I have ever been behind.

Yea i have hids in my blazer too and i havent had anyone flash me so they must not be that bad. Cause i cant aim them down the stubs are rusted. Hey Brian what temp HID do you have in your trail blaxer cause i have 12000k and they are starting to burn whiter.

my bone stock headlights in my truck are terrible, and i shut them off all the time if they are right in a persons mirror in a drive thru or at a stop. With my torsion bars cranked, and 285s, they are aimed kinda high. Most of the time i can center my vehicle with theirs so the lights miss the mirrors, but not always. in any case i try to be a nice guy.

But on the other hand ive also been known to aim my brights directly into a mirror when someone is being a jackass.

I do not believe headlights should be lower or aimed lower on bigger vehicles. If your front end is taller, your headlights need to be aimed higher because you cant see much of the ground directly in front of you anyway. If they were aimed down you wouldnt be able to see much of anything. Lower headlights would also be a problem by making the size of the vehicle deceiving.

Its no different than regulating bumper height or the weight of a vehicle. Not everyone can drive the same thing, its always the people on the bottom of the food chain complaining

I don't think that they should be any lower, I think that they should be aimed at the same spot as mine. 2ft high when 20 ft away. ( I don't remember if thats exactly it, but its something like that)

I think that has more to do with someone not putting their bumper thru my side window than anything. And yes, I will complain about it, I doubt that big ass steel bumper coming at 55mph will taste very good.

my point was there are reasonable regulations in place when it comes to that, just like there is with lighting

dont go right in front of me in my truck then... not aimed up or anything but brighter then heck and stock... they will blind people

I did either 8k or 10k... I wanted white.

93-97 Piaa headlight Conversion

Does anybody have any suggestions? I keep finding kits online but I don't wanna pay out the pooper for them. Has anyone had any good experiences?

Piaa has a sweet set-up and you get two lights, wire harness, and more compared to Hella $60-$80 for one light.

I just did a Eurolights.com conversion and its good enough for me

I'm running HIDs in my Explorer. The housings are clear with a smooth reflector that makes the beam very concentrated. I aim them down a little lower so that they aren't a bother and have had no problems so far. I'm running the 6000Ks. I run the same color in the bike and the bird.
