Does anybody have any suggestions? I keep finding kits online but I don't wanna pay out the pooper for them. Has anyone had any good experiences?

I would just try and get them from Eurolights but for some reason the website isn't working when you click on the HID link1994 Z28 Black, M6, Hardtop, SLP Loudmouth I, GM Performance Cold-Air Intake, 96-97 SS spoiler, 17" x 9.5" Chrome Z06 Motorsports, Longtubes

I got my lights from Eurolights, and did the sealed beam conversion kit for both the low beams, and the high beams. After less than a year, both of the low beam housings have big cracks across the glass in the front. I don't ever drive my car down dirt roads, and don't drive down with lots of loose gravel, so it almost seems to me like the em cutting a hole in the back weakens the integrity of the housing. But there are also people that have had them for quite a while with no problems. But I also drive my car more than probably anyone else on the site, so idk.

Wow - really? I didn't know that they cracked across.. or maybe I did, I vaguely remember someone saying they had an issue with the eurolights sealed beam conversion. I've had mine for a few years and for atleast one or two years that I owned it I drove mine daily. I do know that when one of my eurolight bulbs burnt out that the actual side of the bulb itself melted from the heat.Originally posted by my95z28 View PostI got my lights from Eurolights, and did the sealed beam conversion kit for both the low beams, and the high beams. Yup, thats what happened with the housings. Then on top of that the foglights that I bought both burned out within 2-3 hours of use. Needless to say I was not happy.

Damn. I wanna do a sealed beam conversion for my headlights but I don't wanna destroy my perfectly good stock ones just in case. Does anyone know of any place else to get them?1994 Z28 Black, M6, Hardtop, SLP Loudmouth I, GM Performance Cold-Air Intake, 96-97 SS spoiler, 17" x 9.5" Chrome Z06 Motorsports, Longtubes

I hope I never am going the opposite direction as you on the road - the glare of an HID bulb in a stock housing has to be horribly blinding.- Brian Meissen

Its actually not as bad as i thought they would be Everyone says they are bright but not blinding. I think it does reflect more with the reflective glass but the fact that there faded glass helps dim them down a little.1999 z28 Bright Blue Metallic 1 of 10

Yessir - and aimed down as low as it goes and I made sure that the glare wouldn't be horrendous... don't have as much adjustment on a Camaro's headlights because they're set so far back in the bumper.Originally posted by my95z28 View PostUm, what? You have HIDs in your trailblazer?- Brian Meissen

Seems like the height of the vehicle would make it as if you didnt have them aimed down.Originally posted by meissen View PostYessir - and aimed down as low as it goes and I made sure that the glare wouldn't be horrendous... don't have as much adjustment on a Camaro's headlights because they're set so far back in the bumper.
Ive argued for years that trucks should have lower aimed headlights and fog's.
03-06 Silverado's are the worse, the foglights will blind you.1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 6 Speed
