Want HIDs for 93-97 Camaro

Does anybody have any suggestions? I keep finding kits online but I don't wanna pay out the pooper for them. Has anyone had any good experiences?

Check out ddmtuning for the HID's. I put one of their kits in my sisters Grand Prix and it is very nice. I just put in a sealed beam conversion kit from Eurolights in my Trans Am, and I am going to go with the ddmtuning HID kit when I get some cash.

I would just try and get them from Eurolights but for some reason the website isn't working when you click on the HID link

I got my lights from Eurolights, and did the sealed beam conversion kit for both the low beams, and the high beams. After less than a year, both of the low beam housings have big cracks across the glass in the front. I don't ever drive my car down dirt roads, and don't drive down with lots of loose gravel, so it almost seems to me like the em cutting a hole in the back weakens the integrity of the housing. But there are also people that have had them for quite a while with no problems. But I also drive my car more than probably anyone else on the site, so idk.

Wow - really? I didn't know that they cracked across.. or maybe I did, I vaguely remember someone saying they had an issue with the eurolights sealed beam conversion. I've had mine for a few years and for atleast one or two years that I owned it I drove mine daily. I do know that when one of my eurolight bulbs burnt out that the actual side of the bulb itself melted from the heat.

Yup, thats what happened with the housings. Then on top of that the foglights that I bought both burned out within 2-3 hours of use. Needless to say I was not happy.

yea i have heard from a couple people that they were not happy about the sealed conversion kit with the 93-97's. Had issues with cracking also.

Damn. I wanna do a sealed beam conversion for my headlights but I don't wanna destroy my perfectly good stock ones just in case. Does anyone know of any place else to get them?

I just heated up my stockers and took the bulb outa the Glass and siliconed some HID bulbs to the stockers they have been working fine and ive had them in there since june.

I hope I never am going the opposite direction as you on the road - the glare of an HID bulb in a stock housing has to be horribly blinding.

Um, what? You have HIDs in your trailblazer?

Its actually not as bad as i thought they would be Everyone says they are bright but not blinding. I think it does reflect more with the reflective glass but the fact that there faded glass helps dim them down a little.

Yessir - and aimed down as low as it goes and I made sure that the glare wouldn't be horrendous... don't have as much adjustment on a Camaro's headlights because they're set so far back in the bumper.

Seems like the height of the vehicle would make it as if you didnt have them aimed down.

Ive argued for years that trucks should have lower aimed headlights and fog's.

03-06 Silverado's are the worse, the foglights will blind you.
