Hopefully my trans is fine, it seems to not want to go into OD while cruising, the RPMs stay higher and at times it feels like it is trying to get to OD. Might be the stall with the current trans settings it just doesn't like. TJ hopefully can figure it out at Baker.
I know it sounds funny but does your speedometer work? That almost sounds exactly what was wrong with mine when the VSS in the transmission wasn't working properly.

speedo is right on, the converter is just not locking up is what is happening. HPtuners shows 4th gear, just the converter is not locking up. TJ should be able to tweak the lockup settings and get it where it should be. ONE HOUR!

alright alright, I am back from the dyno.

Numbers are a bit skewed to what it is doing on the road as the engine was completely heatsoaked from our street tuning and the engine only had 70 miles on it so everything is tight yet. Also ran it through the exhaust and not with the cutout open as I was there just to get the car running good for the meet and greet.

Made 210hp/209tq at 5500rpms. This was at 90% throttle. I didn't want to take it to my 6400 rev limiter just yet as the engine is fresh and tight yet.

I will be going back after the meet and greet to run it again with the nitrous and to see if the NA numbers improved.

If we let the car sit for a couple hours and opened the cutout, it would have seen 250hp. The heatsoak and full exhaust brought the numbers down lower.

On the road, it feels great from a stop. I peel the tires off it when I stall it up to 2300 and mash the gas. My stall is a 3k stall so there is more for launching, but even at 2300 I had no traction, lol.

The power/tq curves were almost overlapping and just a nice broad table top graph. Power is there right away. I left the printout on baker's printer though...ggggrrrr....maybe TJ can email me it.

Also the idle has TJ stumped, there is something not right with it yet. I am getting a PO341 code which is the Camshaft position sensor performance code. I already replaced the sensor and it didn't help. TJ thinks the code could be the reason why the car will not go into close loop right now unless you force it with hptuners. So I have some more work there as well

congrats not bad numbers at all given the circumstances! This is going to be one really bad v6 once you get everything worked out and all the bug's out and fixed! Looks good Travis!

thanks Darren, yea the camshaft sensor issue has us all scratching our heads right now. Need to figure that out. But it is driveable for the meet and greet trip though now

Like he said under better conditions it will make more power, especially with the cut out open and on spray. I bet he will surprise some people once all the bugs are worked out and fixed... Dont count this v6 out guys!
