so wierd to see the complete diff in opinions. Some say ill walk him, some say close, some say i lose. lol Hopefully we can run in the next month or so.

Obviously a lot of ppl that are goin by statistics, b/c you will beat him. Get on the road and show him he needs a lot more money in that POS to get out front. Like I saw in an earlier post, the only stang's worth racing against our 4th gens are the Mach 1's and 03, 04 Cobras.

Speaking from experience since I've smacked quite a few Cobra's in my day.
`99 Cobra's are still a good match with an lightly modded LT1 F-body.
The reason they were recalled from what I remember was an Intake manifold port matching problem with the heads. By now all these cars should be fixed though.
If he's not that familiar with the car yet you have the advantage.

Guys not to rain on the parade here, but I'm hoping that when we mention racing, we are also lining this up to happen on a local dragstrip and not the street. Test and Tune nights at any local dragstrip are safer/cheaper to attend than paying for a ticket, higher insurance premiums, or seriously injuring someone.

I know from personal experience that there are people of authority occasionally perusing sites like ours.

I agree that the track is a better place
But as for the local authorities trying to get a line on Street Racing,

That never stopped anybody before including myself.

The key is be smart about when and where you do your racing

I say you have him by a car or so, most mustangs aside from the newer Mach 1 and 03-04 cobras as slow as molasses.

but the 03-04 cobras are supercharged, they put up a real good fight if they dont take you down
