        i finished pulling and taking the v6 apart today.
        there were 3 spun rod bearings and two that were flattened. also the crank is gouged in a few places, so im going to go get a crank kit

        i decided that im going to repair this engine for now, so i have somthing to drive, and keep looking for a project for it

            Good luck dude. I think the LT1s in the Impalas and what not have different accessory locations and what not too anyway.

              Yeah I think that will be the least expensive way to go. OBTW I just listed a thread on v6 to v8 swap so save that and you'll know what parts to collect. Good Luck!
