Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

kk for now I just want to patch the holeup as a temp fix, untill I get the body work done so I bought some bondo, sandpaper, primer & just need some paint.
I know this wont cure it but like I said its temporary
So after sanding around it and yada yada do I just coat it over the hole and wait to dry or a section at a time? Seems like it would just go right through,

Go to auto zone or advance, in the paint section there is a book, look up your year, look for polo green under Chevrolet, get the code and find the can that matches. There mini spray cans about 5.5oz if I remember, one should cover what your looking to do, there what brian and I used to do our engine bays. Oh, dont forget a can of clear. Each runs about 5-6 dollars.
I took a print out to where I got my car painted, and they said they would cut out the metal and put new metal in and paint it for $500 Canadian.
Might be worth the drive, if you can.
there is a guy from Toronto with an 87 Iroc who got quoted $8000 to get his car done, I am getting it done for him for $3500, and that includes sipping the clear that is coming off, body work and then 2 stage paint.
If Autozone doesn't have it, and if they do it probably will not match a ~10 year old car. Take the car up to an Automotive Paint Supply store and they'll mix it to look like the paint that's on there now. They can put it in a quart or a spray can, I'd give them advance notice for a spray can.
I agree with Joe - the problem with the autostore paint is that it's not taking into consideration the sunlight fading, oxidation, etc that happens to paint over the years. While the auto store paint will work in the engine bay like Spencer and I did, I don't think it'd work as good on a body panel where you can see what is old paint and what is new paint.
After talking about it with my Dept. Manager he recommended me to Ross Auto in Lapeer. Found my color and is on order for pick up on monday. So thank god.
Went to autozone & no spray can for Polo green, only had touch up so will be returning that now the can is on order
My bondo job sucks but oh well.. month or two the hole will be no more
