Yes, I can break them loose by just matting it usually. He was asking about brake torque'n.

Actually, what's saved my rear brake rotors and pads is the cost of tires, lol.

I hear that! I just had to replace both my back treads. The track will eat them up over this summer though...

Orange_Terror, how do I turn the ASR off? I checked my owner's manual and it said the ASR button can be turned off and its located on the instrument panel. I couldn't find it. Where is it?

your car may not have ASR but if it did it'd be just below the middle vents.

Ok, I don't think I have it then. Is it still pseudo-safe to do a burnout?

lmao. pseudo safe. lets see i have probably done 50+ burnouts in every one of my cars including my 4cyl s10 so ya i would say you should be ok.

How to do a burnout in an auto:
                    Step 1: Depress brake
                    Step 2: Floor the gas
Step 3: Smell the melting rubber

                    It's just that easy!! lol

That's what I was going to say next. . . I think you don't deserve to do burnouts unless you can do it without asking for help. . . lol I can squeal the tires in anything with tires! How about a 95 Buick Roadmaster with a REALLY BAD need for a tuneup, and a knock from the top end, and, oh yeah, it just got in a 35 mph rear-end collision, so no exhaust system either. . . lol

I hear that all the time, and I dismiss it. . . 260k and I can still roast 'em! lol I figure that if the engine wants to go out in a burnout, that just means I can swap in my V8 sooner! I have a the 76 Datsun 280Z still, so that will become my DD when the 'maro goes into the garage to have the engine rebuilt. . . I have big plans, y'all. . .
