    I am wondering where the best place to find some parts is.

    I need the egr blockoffs for header install and matching gaskets

    i also need header gaskets and bolts.

          Ebay for the EGR plates.

          Keep it local and Automasters can get good gaskets for the headers and collectors, see John, he'll just look up what I have and give it to ya
          The Alum. dead soft gaskets are the best IMO for the collectors

          The EGR, just use Ultra Black RTV for a gasket

              I heard the factory GM gaskets and bolts were one of the best to use.

                ive done that with about 4 header swaps now.... use loctite if need be

                honestly i got some header bolts when i bought my new 1 7/8in headers for my camaro the bolts were garbage and almost stripped out one of my threads on the head.

                    next questionis do i need to replace my plug wires. i just put on brand new 8.5 msd super conductor wires last summer.

                      Not unless there bad? I guess it would depend on the boot style too, but even then I would imagine it wouldnt be an issue.

                          DON'T USE A BLOCK OFF DUDE! I had one on my shit...Blew the whole thing right off...if you're not using it, cut it off now and weld the hole. Cost me $300 just to get the header taken off and weld the hole shut.

                              He does have long tubes, that's why he is asking.

                              As far as block off plates, I have been running them on my car for years with no problem and so have millions of LT-1 peeps.
