What do you think a 1993-1997 ss hood would cost at a junk yard?

I have an aftermarket hood and my fitament issues were extremely minimal.

the top corner of my hood nearest the driver is slightly lifted, as you can see in the above picture. It is only for that 6" or so. The hood aligns absolutely perfect everywhere else and i made no adjustments to any other body panels.

I honestly dont know what company made mine because i bought it used, but you can identify it by the fact that the vent opening uses an LS1 grille insert.

Always liked those hoods, they remind me of the original hood my '79 Z had. I wish I could've fit the new motor I put in it under it, but with the new intake I had put on, it was about 3" too short.

I grabbed an aftermarket hood for the '96 Firebird for about $300, but it took roughly 8 hrs of blocking and sanding to get it right, so less $ will probably mean more work. In the end it paid off, but I wouldn't suggest it for those who aren't willing to experiment a little.

I think i have everyone beat!! I got mine off ebay out of a junk yard in Florida for around 150 or 175 + shipping...it had a small crack in it but was a very easy fix. Then when the hood got shipped something happend and the hood slid in the box and the about a 1/2 inch of the corner got busted. So i called the company and they gave me my money back for the hood and for shipping and i got to keep the hood! Best deal of my life! And it was fully functional.

better off fabricating your own unique hood like nick than finding a SS hood @ the junker

I didn't have an issue with mine.
Fit great and has just a little rise in it but it's not enough for me
                to care about.

people who don't know or don't know how to tell actual think my car is an original WS6
