Get on top on the battery for #8 that is the best way to get it and a swivel helps too.

On top of the battery? That's not anywhwere near the plug. Best way I can see to get it is from underneath, I just don't have small enough hands. Plus the boot seems to be stuck on the plug pretty good.

Well if the battery is in the same spot as mine you'll be best off kneeling on top of the battery and reaching down past the manifold to reach the #8 plug.

Hey, Can I steal one of your stock wires? I had a broken one when I changed my plugs last weekend, and I'm in need of one!!!!... I was looking for TR6's, but I went straight Copper Champions gapped at .035!

I've never heard of good champion plugs, unless they've made serious changes to their designs the last couple years. Although I will say, Chrysler/Dodges run great on them, although I did put autolites in my dad's Ram a few months ago and they worked well too.

Anyway, anybody have any documentation on why they're using them?

they are a very cold plug which helps to remove heat from the cyl., easy to gap, and are very cheap(~2 a plug)

you're not supposed to gap autolite iridium plugs, not sure about other brands' iridium plugs though...

I personally run NGK-TR6's due to me running nitrous.
