Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
55,000 miles on my V6 and the cat is junk. GM did real good with those apparently.
Recommendations for a QUALITY aftermarket cat please?
I wont be dealing with it until at least the new year, im taking the insurance off right now anyway. On the bright side, maybe it will actually have decent throttle response when its fixed.

I don't if it will help but if its under 10 years or 100,000 miles gm has to replace it(federal law I think).we had a 94 T/A that was over the 36,000 mile warranty(about 70,000) and they took care of it. research more not sure how far it goes, just trying to help.
I have a stock Z28 catback I got from a member here Id like to put on this car when i get the cat changed. I just remembered I have the stock y-pipe & catalytic converter from my Z28 up in the attic.
I think i might get that down and see if that cat would weld up, there wouldnt be any problem with using a bigger cat would there? Im thinking it would work as long as the positioning is relatively close.
