    Reminds me of how my dad and I went to put the oil pan on and I had left the oil pump spring chilling on the tray by the pickup tube.

    lol, i was just sooooooooo excited about putting stuff back in that i didnt even think about them. and yeah, my buddy chris, who helped installing the heads, has worked on the several third gens that hes owned. not a huge setback, coulda been way worse

    I see, before it goes back on a nice set of ARP or Katech rod bolts should find there way in IMO Thats funny about the lifters, I take it your friend has never worked on a gen III engine before? they used to go in after the heads but not on these motors.
