    well i think its a lifter or rod knock..
    only enjoyed headers for 150 miles too

      not an excuse when plan was to build a fully forged motor in winter(2000miles from now)
      i miss summer because i have no time for it.

        check header gasket... 1fstss did that stoped by and i took a look and found he blew his brand new header gaskets out. had to run double or somthing. also check the rockers all the sound seems to be coming out of the pass. side.

          I need a break from this car after having like 24hours of installing headers and get 150 miles out of enjoying the work. ima have someone come help me. by myself its to hard.

            so far i have took headers off and back on to check seat on the gasket.. seems find. checked EGR block offs on back of intake. and took pass side valve cover off and checked rockers.
            just a bolt-on Lt1

              if you are lucky and its a lifter, the car is not "done" we can easily swap those out in 6 hours or less if we need to.

                its hard tellin man in the beginning its on and off then u hear it all the time, the way it makes the noise it doesnt sound like it at first.

                you retorqued the rocker arms? what did you put new ones in?

                    sounds a lot like mine and I'm almost positive mine is a leak somewhere.

                      interesting. I had a leaky gasket when i first installed my headers and it sounded NOTHING like that.
