Shifter handle keeps coming loose

Ah, there's your problem then, cheap bolts. No way a bolt should lose it's threads before a tapped hole. See if you can snag some 10.9 class bolts when you go get some new ones.....if not, let me know what size and I can probably get you some.

i found some new bolts at my dads work that did the trick. I went all out on this. I used teflon tape on the threads, and in between the handle and the shifter to help it grip. I also ground the handle down so i could use regular bolts and put a socket on it, there is plenty of metal there so im not worried about strength. here's the before and afters:

before: (no lock nuts, allen head bolts)

Cant say ive had this problem. Ive got the slp short throw with the hurst handle. Works perfect and its never come loose. Even when I try cause the Knob is gettin worn down and Im thinkin a new on in place
