leave it broke until you can afford something better. you can find 2nd hand stuff thats way better even.

are you even sure its the deck thats the problem? Could it be the fuse in the deck?

I replaced the fuse for the radio and that wasn't the problem. And it happened by my window wires connecting and sparking and it hasn't worked since. Everybody here is saying that I need to just get a new head unit.

Edit: And Rolo, the CD player in the second link should fit right into the spot my current one is in without any problem, right? Or will I have to make the space bigger?

what nate was saying is that the headunit itself might have a fuse(s) that could be blown. Its worth checking, they are usually on the back of the unit.

you dont know how to pull the fuse out..or get to the back of the cdplayer?

Just look for all the bolts and what not ...Dash screws/bolts should be size 9/32 all the way around I believ. And the way my CD player installed I think the size socket I used was an 8 or 10 (to detach it from the dash) ... take off the panel..then the cd player itself should be bolted into place ..take that out..and just yank the fuse out from the back..mine was fairly easy to pull out but a lil hard @ first..if you can do it..get some pliers

Oh forgot to say that I checked the fuses on the player itself, and Rolo, i'm not the most knowledgable person here, but i'm not that dumb lol...but anyway, I replaced the fuses and that wasn't the problem...I ended up buying the player from the 2nd link you posted rolo. It should get here by wednesday or thursday.

Got here today. Appears to be in good shape. It won't take my ipod caple though

                          UPDATE:

My horn is still only works when it wants to but that isn't that big of a deal at all. But as I was taking my old stereo out i figured id look at the wiring around the horn. As I honk there is a white box that flashes green everytime I try to honk. Not quite sure on what that means.

My wondows have stopped working completely. I'm pretty the motor is just shot but at the same time the power window switches have a loose wire and that could also be a problem.

Haven't had time to take the dash apart to replace those bulbs so i'll make do with that. I'm thinking about just taking it in to my local shop since it is proving to be to much for me to handle.
