    i think i'm gonna change the bearings first then pull the engine

        Who cares...it's not the issue. The issue was fixing a rod knock....motor has to come out to do it right.

          just bought a decent engine stand that swivels so it should work out nice. ill post up some pictures when i get it torn apart because i honestly dont know what i'm looking for to replace

            number the rod/ caps on one side. That way you know where they go and the proper direction. when you find the bad one measure the rod journal. it should be 2.100 if it hasn't been cut
