      Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement
      Removal Procedure

      1. Remove the mirror bezel screw. (2) Remove the mirror bezel (3). Remove the remote handle from the bezel, if equipped. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement . Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.
5.1. Pull the rosebud clip on the electrical connector from the mirror.
        5.2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the outside rearview mirror nuts (1) from the mirror assembly (2).
      2. Remove the outside rearview mirror (2).
      Installation Procedure

      1. Install the outside rearview mirror. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Install the outside rearview mirror nuts (1) to the mirror assembly (2). Tighten
Tighten the outside rearview mirror nuts (1) to 12 N·m (106 lb in).
Connect the electrical connector, if equipped.
3.1. Connect the electrical connectors together.
3.2. Press the rosebud clip onto the electrical connector.
Install the door trim panel from door. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement . Install the remote handle to the bezel, if equipped.

Install the rearview mirror bezel (2). Important: Ensure that the retainer guides on back of the bezel are aligned with the holes in the applique.
      2. Install the rearview mirror bezel screw. Tighten
