I bought some Harlan Sharp 1.6 roller rockers,. 3/8" stud, Nsa. Since our Lt1's don't come with guide plates, I'm gonna need to install some. A lot of info online is really wishy washy, some say certain plates rub, others don't, that Lt1's are specific to a certain plate, other's say it's no different than a standard 350 setup. I plan on upgrading the springs since I'm gaining lift, but:
Will the standard length pushrods still work okay? (I plan on upgrading for strength)
Is there a certain brand guide plate that works best for the LT1?
I haven't installed rr's before, just SA standard rockers. I'm familiar with setting zero valve lash, I just need to make sure I'm not missing anything. I read somewhere about needing longer pushrods for 1.6 nsa rr's, Just hoping for something concrete, factual lol.
Do I have to replace anything besides the rockers? Will everything still fit together right?
