  • LS6 Intake Swap Question - Quick disconnect fuel line tool use

I'm swapping out the intake right now for an LS6 intake and I've got pretty much everything off except for the fuel line right before the fuel rail. I have the 3/8" tool to get it off, and I put it in there and tried pulling it off but it's not working. It's just stuck on. Any tips, advice, etc??

Go to auto zone or pep boys and get a ruel like removal tool. It is a cheap plastic tool that usually comes in about 6 sizes. It snaps over the fuel like, and then you slide it into the aluminum piece and the line will pull right out.

    It costs about 2.99

push the hose in the insert the tool all the way. Then it should pull right out.
The plastic ones don't work well for this. I use the two sided scissor type for the ls1 rails
