Lapeer is a shit hole. the waterbox is a joke, you have to back up to the construction saw horses then pull out and then do your burn out. like stated the first could hundred feet is a cow path. the shut down is sketchy as hell (this is why all their bracket is in 1/8th mile)

the pits is all dirt, and that's about it...oh and it's so cheap they don't even have a time board, they just announce your times over the PA lmao

but i do have to say you can get some decent runs in. i got like 6 or 7 runs in on a sunday. not too bad with brackets inbetween

oh and my buddy messed something up on his car today if you saw a silver WS6 with slicks 'n' skinnies going low 11's on motor

I like that they make you back into the water. It keeps the numb nuts from driving through it with threaded tires.
Thats about all I like about it.
          Was frances there???

Milan sucks unless you goto a private rental. Motownmuscle has one the 6th(this saturday) from 9-12. during tnt there are way to many people.

yeah. i saw your posts on MM....that's cool. i could imagine the spool on the streets would be interesting with the 17's....if you drove around with the 15's i would imagine it would be easier since those tires would give a bit more.

but yeah. greg and francis went to lapeer sunday. i don't know what happened yet. but his car goes to the back of the line, i still need to finish my shit!

still new to lapeer, is there any tips besides not racing there LOL, like which lanes, tire press. on street, or what ever. just know casue the road to get there is in better shape. LOL

there was this one med blue 4th gen there that was probly the faster there. but didnt get to talk to him

but since the track is soooooo cheap, i think it might be unsafe at times. since they dont check for leaks or didnt do any clean up when cars were smoking crazy.

do they ever do anything like that??

I Took the Mustang to the track (Milan)last night, for the first time.

I got 3 runs in 2.5hrs. So that sucked. But i want to get some more runs in before i do some stuff to it. So i want to go to Lapeer i think?

Is it worth it to go to Lapeer?
                    What are Lapeer TNT Days?

1995 TA Sold. i sure do miss it though.

sat, sun are the TT days , and might be worth it in some ways, seeing that you got 3 runs in alomst 3 hours. i got 3 runs in 45 mins. but track honestly sucks compared to milan. the first 20 feet has bumps a lil. and no score board. and pits are dirt roads, before you enter on to the staging lanes, that just shows you how cheap it is.

i still liked it thoe, since it was my first time really on a track,

but the equation is __ lapeer ,, 5 x more runs in same time as milan, but worst track and condtions ... soo its whatever

Lapeer blows!!! Im going to say that the lane closest to the tower is the better lane, the far lane has the notorius speed bump

Its good for practice because you can get soo many runs in, but don't expect to run your best times there. Saturday is also the best day to go for TNT and the tower lane is best.

from my perspective, its a good place to do test/tune. there were some guys there last weekend that got 15 runs in about 1.5 hours. they didnt even have a wait of more than 3 minutes before 2:30 in the afternoon.

sure, you wont run your best there, no you wont hook as good as milan, no the track is not nearly as nice as milan, and the facilities more or less suck. but you can easily get your money's worth and it is a lot shorter drive for those of us north of m59 on the east side of the state.
