    fuel pump will be fine, direct swap, it doesn't affect your tune or anything like that. Other things affect the amount of fuel being pumped into the car. The pump just makes sure there is enough there being pumped to support your power needs

        i had 2 fuel pumps, one made it a day before real problems the other made it 2 weeks. my third one seems to start with no prob now.

            My first 98 z28 Camaro, i knew the owner personally, and he told me it had a new fuel pump in it. He said he ran it out of gas, tried to start it a couple times and that toasted it. Common Problem.

              got the car towed home today (I get reembursed by insurance so thats nice) and I do not hear the fuel pump turning on.
