Yeah, the 5th gen doesn't have the layout that the 1st gen did. On that car, it sat well. By today's standards, it just doesn't seem to flow.

I don't have a problem with people thinking out of the box, like I said, sometimes it just does not work. Like this time.

But, like everything else, everyone has their own opinions of what's cool and what's not. And, everyone has the right to express their own opinions.

It's going to be pretty hard to improve on the GM design. That's why those guys are in the position that are in. They come up with good designs. By most accounts, the Camaro is a home run from a design standpoint. Granted, not everyone likes it, but it appears that most people do.

I was replying to Jeff saying not to give credit to people for thinking outside the box.

I didn't say that at all Brian, I think its great to think outside the box, otherwise we wouldn't have any aftermarket at all. My point was that if your gonna think outside the box why reach back in time and take something off a car from the 60s that doesn't go well with your curreent vehicle. Why not be original and create a similar piece that flows with the current hood design. This person put a rectangle on a cylinder and expected it to look good? Don't be an idoit and you will get much more respect for thinkling outside the box.

you can think outside the box and still have the ability to reflect on whether or not your idea was stupid or not.

I could put a set a of bullhorns on my car and i wouldnt expect credit for anything.

I'm considering train horns for both the 'bird and the truck. They will hear!

Here's an idea from the 60's they should do: Hideaway headlights on the RS models! But I agree, that looks like crap on the new car.

Joel I think that would look great especially if you balanced it with an antennae and racoon tail on the other fender! LOL Oh, and raise the car and put 22's on it. don't forget the buick ports, and a bullit hole decal. LOL LOL LOL
