    Actually, Ray, one of the companies is claiming 75 HP gain with intake, headers, exhaust, and a tune.

      Like I said Ray, I could be wrong.
      I think it would be much more accurate if HP WAS rated at the rear wheels by the car companies. instead of at the flywheel. JMO.

        That may be, but you need 575 to 600hp at the flywheel to make 500 at the rear wheels.

        Of course I have not seen true HP numbers off the motor as yet. Scott S. told me that although the '01 and '02 LS1's were rated at 320hp, every one of them actually made 365 to 368 right out of the box.
