Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
but you still have a side impact besides the pole impact, my guess is he and the other person were at a decent speed when the explorer took out his quater sending him into a pole but thats my assumption, theres almost to much damage to just be a pole.
thats the only way i could see all that damage happening. there is almost no way you could spin the car around and hit a pole that hard by yourself.
Yeah, no disagreements there. What's funny is he says elsewhere on Camaro5 that he took the car up to 176mph the day before but "when this happened" he was only going 25mph.

So is that the LS3 limiter, 176? I seen some people 'commenting' on his story.
When my S10 got totaled, I was at a dead stop and a kid ran a red light going 55-60mph(or more)and nailed another guy in the passenger rear door who was doing about 40mph(the speed limit) and sent him spinning into me. There was a lot of damage to all the cars involved and enough to total out my truck when I was stopped. You'd be surprised at the amount of energy transfer that occurs and the damage it can do, especially with new cars and all the crumple zones. It doesn't take much to do major amounts of damage.

yep exactly. I know a girl that spun out on the ice maybe 15-20mph into a yard and back into a tree. that was enough force for the bed to nail the cab and completely shatter the rear window out.... and this is a solid frame truck vs a unibody.
the worst damage happens when the forces are directly opposing, vs ones that are on some degree of angle and one or more of the vehicles is deflected.
Oh my god... I was reading it all on Camaro 5, that's some BS, a Ford Escape nailed him, with a teenager driving, I Swear, if that was me I'd have to be put in handcuffs when the cops got there from killing the kid, I went after the dude that wrecked my Stepdads 85 Firebird a good 6 years ago, Dude was doing 45 and ran into a Grand Prix, which in turn Ran into my Mom and me in the car, bent the frame and everything, roof buckled, I jumped out of the car in the middle of telegraph and ran up to his truck and started punching his window, and I was young at the time!
