Well, the base price seems pretty good, SS is a tad high, though - but everything comes with SO many standard options...

They need a stripper option of the SS and LS...

Hmm, I thought it was supposed to compete with mustang at 19,700. Im sure it will make up the difference but they stretched that about as much as I expected.

From what i remember in previous conversations, they were planning on being a few grand more than the Mustang because they consider the Camaro's standard options and finish to be a higher quality than the Mustang.

Our 320HP '01 SS 6 speed is fairly plain jane. The only options on it are T-tops, AC and PW & PL. It stickered at $31,000.

NINE years later (2010) I can get a 422HP 6 speed SS for around ....................$31,000
I am not complaining at all about the price

Looks good to me... My Z was stickered at 30,000 because it has every option. I hope the options packages to make a 5th gen as nice as my 02' dont juice up the prices too much. I just want leather, 19s, a boss stereo, and the little gauge cluster in front of the shifter...

Looks good to me. Have to remember that there will be a new mustang, as well as a new price too.

And yes, a 1LE package, or Z28 option is needed. Give me a v8, m6, and a radio at around 25k please.

Oh, and I wonder what the OTD price will be for a M6 SS the first few months. lol

There's not a whole lot of options, but that makes sense, because there is so much shit that is standard.

I really wish the 1SS had the power pack gauges... But I think I could survive without them. I'd definitely get a custom RS kit or make it, with hidden headlights and what not.

                    Observation.

The only place I can find this is CamaroZ28.com...can't find an actual GM release anywhere.

I'll reserve judgement until a more reputable source is named.

EDIT: Even Chevrolet.com has got nothing...I'm getting ready to dredge up a Failboat pic...

No option prices anywhere in there...or on chevy.com...only base MSRPs...

EDIT: Maybe Todd can see it...hint...hint...

And that option list looks a little hokey to me...doesn't match the flyer for what was expected to be available...I would expect something official from GM to be a bit more complete in a description other than "Interior Trim Package"...

Yeah, options do seem to be fishy - we'll see how official they are shortly - MSRP is right, though, that's all I really care about now...

...I'm tempted. My dad basically offered to get me a V6 model (if he gets some decent work shortly), I mean 300HP is great, but I really <3 V8s...
