I think its still in the TB SS, but not sure.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View Postum, isnt LS2 dead already?
G8 does not use LS2. It never has. OK I see you admitedOriginally posted by mwood88 View PostIt's believable that GM would use the LS2. The G8 uses it. I hope they don't, but it's possible.

The 302 was a short stroke little screamer, I still wanna build one someday. And a 327 too. RPM city, just keep em over 3k.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View PostLS3 Corvettes have been rolling around for a good year now.
The cross-ram DZ302 and 375hp 396s were a dead heat in the quarter-mile. Some go far as saying the 302 was faster, i think it was a drivers race as well as who's carberator was adjusted better.
Whats funny is the 302 was only rated at 290hp
and yes... first gen SS's came with a 350, 3 of them if i remember correctly...
What's wrong with the LS2?

The Trailblazer is getting the axe after this year isn't it? That means the LS2 will probably be done also.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View Postyeap i think youre right about the trailblazer
I'm gonna guess that the lower of the v8 models, be it Z28 or SS, will probably use the same 6.0L found in the G8. The higher model v8 will probably use the supercharged engine that's in the CTS-V.

I can't wait for a Trans Am to come back. I won't buy a new one right away but they need to be sold so that in 5 years I can buy a slightly used one. By that time my little V6 car will need a cage (which I will not do) and I'll be on to a different project.
Pontiac dealers just keep getting screwed with discontinued products. I think the trans am would be a VERY low volume seller for my store but darn it I want one.1989 TTA 23,000 miles, ran 12.42@107 with stock long block, turbo & intercooler.
Just installed Precision Dbb 6262rs, 4.1L stroker, Ported heads, dutt neck IC, and other stuff
1995 Z28, hardtop M6, edelbrock tb, sfc's, K&N intake, B&M shifter, spec 3 clutch, 4.10 gears, and other stuff
