  • Nick got a New Car!! V8 Baby!!

Well, as many of you know, the recent turn of events and unfortunate luck with the Camaro has caused me to be on the lookout for a nicer car. . . Tonight, I picked one up. It's not a T-Top car, but it has cold A/c, Hot Heat, and, oh yeah, an LT1. I'm not trying to go the fastest, I'm not even going to race the car, I just wanted to get a decent looking car that ran great and didn't need much. Here you go.

It's a 1993 Pontiac Firebird Formula Hardtop. Paint is in good shape, there are a couple of dents and scrapes, but nothing serious. Pretty much bone stock right now. Even still has the factory Cassette radio. . . For now. . . lol It runs great, drives great, it feels like it has a warped rear rotor, and it could benefit from a tune-up. My Dad asked me to give the Camaro to my little sister, he wants her to drive a car that is decent but won't kill her for her first car. Also, he wants her to learn to care for it, which she will do by doing the body work on it. I'm taking my Aluminum driveshaft, Leather seats, full stereo system, rims & tires, and any other parts I put on the Camaro back off, and the stockers from the 'bird are going in. The Firebird should be looking pretty good tomorrow, she's getting her first wash in probably 6 months, and probably the first polish and wax of her life. I'll claybar the car later on when I can afford it, but I think I'll be able to shine it up nice. . . I'm thinking of putting on the stock Firebird V6 taillights and removing the "Formula V8" decal from the rear bumper to make it a sleeper. . . more so than it already is, anyway. I'll post up some more pics tomorrow, here are the ones Ben took the first time I saw the car last Thursday.

As I said, More pics after she's waxed and polished tomorrow. I'm so excited!!!

I gave it to my 13 y/o little sister. She's been working on the Datsun for a while, but lost interest when Dad told her she wouldn't be able to drive it when she got her license. I talked it over with Dad, and I got my use out of the 'maro, I'm taking my new parts off of it, like the seats, the stereo and speakers, the aluminum driveshaft, rims, tires, etc, and Sis is getting the stock stuff out of the Formy.

                    WELCOME TO THE DARKSIDE! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH......

                    Firebirds FTMFW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

excellent car.. keep ben away from it, the red might attract him as it does bulls!

woot for the LT1. you don't want to go fast now.. but you get a little speed in ya and don't worry, youll be making silly phonecalls to people and end up with a post like mine talking about a new motor.. maybe the Aliens will come hook you up with a little of their secrets.. haha

welcome to the bird family, and hope you enjoy!! sucks to see you put all that work into the car and not be able to enjoy the finished product, however it was mighty nice of you to give it to the sis.. at least youll be able to see it finished and drive it a time and again!
