hey dennis this is chad from discount. I looked into your rims. U can get the polished 17x8 16x8 combo within a few days of ordering. They also make a totally chrome torq thrust m. But only available ina 17x8. All the torq thrust 2's with the chrome center are custom order witha turn around time of 30 days. Thats for the 18x8 and 17x8 or 17x8 and 16x8 combo. The pricing isnt to bad. I havent looked into tires yet ill try to get into that and give u a price w/ tires for all 4 combo's above. I should have a price for u hopefully by wednesday.

Stopped by the shop and took these pictures today. The underside of the hood and Steering Wheel are painted, but not much else today.
The flash plays tricks with the colors. The hood is closest to the true color, not the steering wheel.

Hey, Dave, saw your bird there...

                  Very nice!!!

I like the wood trimmed steering wheel. Is West End doing and other custom work on the El Camino other than the paint job?

Yeah, I left my baby there around 9:30am this morning. She will be all repaired, color matched, and have the 4th Gen Firebird logo painted on the hood in no time.

Other than restoring the interior, no body custom work.

The Steering Wheel came with the car, and just happens to be the same type I had in the HOT 80. Since I am a Wood worker, I love the feel of the Wood Wheel. Like I said, the flash makes the paint shade look more orange than it is.

Makin' some progress, Dennis. Have you decided on wheels, yet?

I have always liked the American Racing 200S wheel on Chevelle/El Camino's. These are the ones I WAS going to put on the Project DZ74.

17 X 9.5 all the way around would look great!
