Here is a pic of the engine. It is a Crate 350/300hp installed in 1996. I dressed it up. The enginge room will be cleaned little by little once I get it home.

Looking Good Dennis. When is the El Camino going to be completed?

Did Chris take those shots for you or were you able to go in and take them yourself? I was curious cause I like to keep a photo record of changes to my car, so if I could go in and take a few shots each day I would be ecstatic.

I can't wait to see the work Chris @ West End Body Shop does on my Firebird. She will be going in on April 4th.

Keep up the restore it is looking great.

                        Ol' Rock N' Roller

Dave, I took all these shots. I go in like once or twice a week. Chris is also taking pictures.

The current color was painted on the car in the mid 90's. The original color was a mist green.

The new color is actually a 2007 Ford Edge color...

I hesitated printing that little bit of infomation lol, but I wrestled with several colors and fell in love with this color, when Ronnie bought her new Edge a couple of weeks ago. They had one in the show room with the burnt copper color.

I like it cause it is darker than the GM Sunset Orange Metallic, while it does not come thru that dark in my pictures, it reminds me of the old 1972 Vettes with the Burth Orange paint jobs.

And with the black interior, black vinyl roof, and black box, then adding black Chevelle SS type hood racing stripes should make that Bronze Copper Matellic paint just pop...
