Sweet looking Formula. Sounds like you got a awsome deal as well. I don't like how the after market gauges are though, but it's your car.

yea im not sure the 3.73s will help that much. it will definitely be a noticeable improvement, but gearswaps arent cheap. that manual valve body th350 has to be fun though
If that were my car id be looking into a drop kit (not a big one, but make it look right) and lose the mudflaps. car will be done.

yeah gauges will be changed after i get some money again, gonna have the machine shop class fab up alot of things for this car. The one thing that is nice about the gauges in there now is that he used existing holes and didn't make holes in the dash pad or things that are expensive to replace. First thing I'm probably gonna do is get the back window tinted so people don't see the fuel cell, then some stainless steel exhuast tips (not a fan of chrome), then another set of stock rims for the back so i can run some drag radials. It wil be a street/strip car, i need some gears that i can switch out easy, get good power, but low highway rpms. Its pretty much a brand new car, under 3k miles on drivetrain, brakes, tires, all components, new carpet, t tops don't leak and the seals are good, and the plate in the middle is brand new.Originally posted by SouLTeRRoRSweet looking Formula. edit:Yeah actaully first thing I'm gonna do is get a sending unit, a speedo cable, fuel and speedometer so i can have the two other important things.
I'm guessing the stock speedo went through the ecm (was a 350 TPI) do i will have to get an in dash speedo and run a cable from the trans to the aftermarket but if i'm wrong please correct me, same with fuel gauge too.Last edited by thursday12889; February 10th, 2007, 12:37 AM.

payed $7,800 for it, talked him down from $8,600 and he's got a book of reciepts that totals up well over $20,000 for the car. Everything is done right and money was paid for the best of everything, didn't go cheap on anything. I'll probably have the exhaust redone since half of it isn't mandrel bent and I'd like to squeeze as much power as i can out of the car.
