  • My new car: 1989 Formula 350

So guys I finally got a car, hopefully going to pick it up with a trailer this weekend. Its a 1989 Formula 350 with t-tops. Can anyone guess what's under the hood? Oh yeah 383 stroker 4 bolt. Got the 383 with dart iron heads, barry grant carb, march pulleys, heddman ceramic coated headers (cam specs later) going into a TH350 manual valve body, B&M shifter, aluminum driveshaft, back into a Moser Ford 9" rear end with 4.11's, 4 wheel disc brakes, weld in subframe connectors, 10 gallon fuel cell, electric inline fuel pump (not sure of flow rate have to look in the reciept book), be cool radiator with dual 11" electric fans, ALL MSD ignition. Exhaust comes off headers (no cat duh) into a y pipe, 3 inch back to a flowmaster 40 series oem style muffler back out to stock location.

oh yeah and i forgot one of the most important things, WS6 of course
its got a little less than 3k miles on the whole drivetrain, the ass end kicks out like crazy, really needs some better gripping tires for driving all the time, and yeah i say it needs to be a little lower also

nice find! that's about as clean as your old car! but this one has the all important V8!!!

it doesn't seem like it'll be a daily driver or will it??

either or, have fun and burn up them tires!!!

the guy i bought it from has a book full of reciepts, over 18,000 dollars worth of reciepts, i got it for 7800, needs nothing besides some 3.73 swapped in for the 4.11s so i can drive it at 55 and not be at 3300 rpms

but what sucks is i'll be driving this till weather permits

it is a 2wd baja beast but yeah everyone here should understand
