looks really good, Im still debating what route Im going to go, Im between a mid tone silver, and black top/wheels 2 tone type deal, or doing heavy satin black with all red accenting and a couple red racing stripes, like I have now, I am kinda fond of the look, would be much better professionally done.Current Rides:

Its possible to do a halfway decent paintjob yourself using rustoleum thinned 50/50 with mineral spirits applied with a foam roller. Ive done it, and total cost is about $50. The quality of the result is all in the attention to detail. It can be wetsanded and buffed for a nice shine too. I wouldnt suggest trying it on silver though, thats just about the most unforgiving color you can paint a car, plus i doubt rustoleum makes any metallics.-Joel

And the spray bombing is a masterpiece? I guarantee it could be an improvement if done right. But, it could also be worseOriginally posted by mcalus View PostPlease don't

Single stage would take just as much work. It would only save you about $300 in clear. An easy way to keep costs down is staying out of the jambs, engine bay, undercarriage etc. it saves time and money. But to turnout with an amazing job, all of that needs to be done. My next camaro I will be doing a 100% complete resprayed. It'll look titsOriginally posted by Lucky SOB View PostIm sure Michael will give you a great deal, but I can't imagine painting an entire car for under $4k and having it turn out well. Maybe if you had a single stage paint job done to hold you over?

I got it from a guy named brad, who got it from a rich kid in grand blanc a little over a year ago(who is a complete dumbass IMO, A lot of stuff was done half way, had I not done the re-swap front clip, I wouldnt have caught some issues the car had which couldve been dangerous... being lots of stuff was 1 bolted, or not completely hooked up

), either way, My spray job is simply to have the car somewhat match. When I get the full paintjob done, I want it done by somebody who has experience and has done it a few times before. Im not looking for show quality, and to be honest (considering its gonna be a daily driver) I am content with satin black/matte black/primer. I feel red stripes and accenting here and there, blacked out everything, gloss black wheels, and satin finish on the car would be just fine. I want something that is somewhat under the radar (hard to do with 3" exhaust lol), not really bright or flashy, but still says its got some extra ponies so to speak. hell. full black primer is a step up from what is there now, and I could be perfectly happy with that. Im sure some have noticed Im not big on glossy finish haha. following pic is a good starting point of what direction I would like to go, if my thorough explaination wasnt enough

K, looks just like a car owned by a member that was just banned for being extremely shady. And by "just like" I mean to a T.
Look at the rear foot wells, if you have doubled up thin gauge sheet metal then I hope you got a great deal. Not trying to be downer but that guy was nothing but trouble. What did you do with the old hood?
