  • New "NEW" DD: 2013 Impala LT

So I got my Charger back, lets say in less-than-pristine condition. Frustrated and PO'ed, I decided to just trade it in rather than sinking 2k into putting it back right. So I went to Tennyson Chevrolet in Livonia to check out a couple of cars, and ended up getting a 2013 Impala LT. The deal was just too good to pass up, with almost 6K of incentives and a 7 year, 75000 mile bumper to bumper thrown in. Has the remote starter, which will be great this winter, and the Bluetooth hookup for my phone. Fun to drive, pretty good mileage, should be a good family car for us.front.jpgside.jpg

Congrats on the new purchase - with the 2014s I'm sure they're practically giving away the 2013s

Nice! We had one as a loaner just like that last week, I was VERY surprised by the 3.6 and 6spd auto. That thing hauls butt! Really makes those things a whole nother car compared to the older 3.5/4spd variants.

I had a 2012 I4 as a rental not too long ago. Perfectly nice car but I felt like I was driving something with 12lb spring rates.

Werd, my buddy has a 2012 and the thing really hauls ass. My parents have an '08 with the 3.5L and it's slow as hell. They are a GREAT deal!

Congratulations on getting a good deal on a solid vehicle!

But once there's one Chevy in the household, aren't you afraid that you're on the slippery slope and may be changing from the Firebird side over to the Camaro side?

In a nutshell, he tried to help out a family member by either loaning out the Dodge or offering to sell it to them at a sweetheart price. They ended up trashing the car, then they gave it back to Mike without paying for it. I think the story was told in the Chapped Ass thread.

Thanks guys. Yeah, she definitely has some pep to her. The seats are my only complaint, a little too firm and flat for my tastes. But other than that, which is a minor complaint to say the least, I'm very happy with it so far. And NO, Kevin, I will not be coming to the light side anytime soon. My 79 isn't going anywhere. No, really, it isn't. my leaf springs are on back order.
