Looks good. Agreed with Larry -- 93-97 front end just looks so much better than the catfish frontend, but to each their own. Glad to see you making it your own.

My old 93-97 front end was junk lol.

I have 150$ into this entire front clip

            Can't beat that.

Now I just need a 98-02 ss spoiler to complete the main look I want. Then maybe some tourqe thrust 2s to really set it off.

Yeah I wish we could get together and get some work done. This thing needs a little back end work

So you went from a functioning intake, to a v6 lid and no filter. Just kidding. looks good man I'm an odd ball I prefer the catfish front end.

Looks good but im confussed by the new intake setup. The old intake and radiator support I think looked nicer imo. I dont think the hood intake really does much.

Once he gets it set up the lid gets fed air from the air damn under the front bumper and flow over the front of the radiator into the lid and into the intake.. No "ram air" function with the scoop..

How do I not get ram air from the hood scoop? Its functional.

I was very close to doing this same thing. But decided aganist it. There's just something about the 93-97 that I like. More stripped down, not as fancy, and I like that. But either way, it looks great. But what they meant by it not being ram-air is because the air coming in the hood isn't directed anywhere. It's just blasting into the engine bay.. from both the hood and the lid actually. Neither are hooked up to an intake/throttlebody. That air needs to be routed straight into the engine to be considered a "funtional" ram-air system. Nah mean!

It's a proven fact that the lid setup is more efficient for airflow than the LT1 elbow system.
